This is an adapter plate for medium to large Hardy disc for BMW ZF gearbox 96-110 mm
The material used is elathane 95A.
Be careful that the drivetrain lines up straigth to avoid vibrations.
Installation tips for hardy disc:
- 12:9 bolts are recommended.
- Torque the bolts according to recommendations http://www.millway.se/atdragningsmoment/
- Make sure the propshaft aligns with the engine.
- Use rigid / hard engine and gearbox mounts
- Use washers on both sides of the hardy disc so that the bushings inside it won’t slide off.
Ignoring these tips increases the risk for imbalances and excessive wear.
